Review Policy

Every now and then I will post reviews on this blog. I mostly share short thoughts and recommendations through my Goodreads and Instagram account. Because I am in my last semester in college I don’t post on here as often as I would like, but I hope that changes in the upcoming months. While other bloggers post long and very informative reviews, you will find that mine are much shorter and focus on what I thought of it instead of also posting a summary. I find that sometimes it is better to start a book while being a little more open minded about it and enjoying the mystery of them. I don’t really like number ratings because that in itself may sway readers from picking it up. Also, it reminds me of grades and school and the fact that everyone wants to get the A, or in this case that 5 star rating. That does not mean that I won’t leave a number rating, sometimes if the book is really good (which I read a lot of) I will have have a 4.5 or 5 star rating. We all know of the 5 star rating system and if you follow me on Goodreads, and see one of my ratings there you can usually get an idea of the impression the book left on me.
I won’t use a 5 star system on here, unless I come up with good descriptions later. But I will leave my thoughts on the book, Throughout the many years that I have been an avid reader, I always find something positive in the books I read. πŸ™‚
So please be nice to all authors, they all put so much effort to give us stories to read and enjoy. Feedback is always more appreciative than negative words.

The books I find myself reading the most are the following:

  • Romance
  • New Adult
  • Young Adult
  • Dark Romance
  • Contemporary
  • Erotic Romance

This list does not mean that those are just the only ones I read, but they are the ones that I find myself reading the most.

*Another thing to note, is that I don’t really use the word “love.” So if you don’t see that word throughout my reviews, don’t take it personally or feel that I didn’t really like the book. I’ll just use other words that will leave the same impression.
